The Proutyline Products exhibit starts at the Hermosa Beach Museum on 710 Pier Ave. Learn the history of the Hermosa Tile company founded by T.C. Fiber Art talk

Surf movie at Saint Rocke
The premiere of the short film “Finding the North Star” will take place Saturday, April 1, at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, beginning at 8 p.m. Directed by Walter Siefker, the film is about two friends, Michael Okuda and Eric Beranek, who travel to Northern California to rediscover their love of surfing. The stars and director grew up in Redondo Beach and graduated from Redondo Union High School in 2014. Flamenco dance festival

“You Are Enough,” the flagship mental health campaign of Giving Purpose started by Redondo Beach resident Cathy Caplener, holds a 5K Run/Walk on Apr. 8 in Hermosa Beach. Its mission is to bring together individuals to help one another and realize they are not alone. The course will start and end at Schumacher Plaza, with Manhattan Beach Pier as the halfway point. Community Garage Sale
City of Hermosa Beach is pleased to announce the return of the Community Garage Sale on Saturday, Apr.15. This city-wide event is intended to help residents find ‘homes’ for items they no longer need.
